Online Test (Bank of India PO Recruitment 2023)
Online examinations will have the following structure:
If you mark the wrong answer on the Objective Test, you will be penalized. In order to arrive at the corrected score, one-fourth of the marks assigned to each question where a wrong answer has been given by the candidate will be deducted as a penalty. If a question is left blank, i.e. a candidate does not mark an answer, no penalty will be applied.
INTERVIEW
All Selected Candidates will be interviewed personally by the bank. There will be a total of 60 marks awarded for the interview. The third step is the Group Discussion (GD):
Candidates selected through online testing will participate in Group Discussions at some selected centers. For the group discussion, 40 marks will be allotted. A minimum score of 40% will be required for candidates in the General/EWS category, and a minimum score of 35% will be required for candidates in the SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.
Lastly, the Final Selection:
All Candidates will be selected based on the scores they receive in the Online Examination, Personal Interview, and Group Discussion. According to the categories, the final list will be arranged in descending order: SCA/STA/OBC/EWS/GEN.
As a result of equal marks obtained by two or more candidates during the preparation of the final merit list, the order of such candidates will be determined by the marks obtained in the online examination.
Thus, the candidate who scored the highest on the online examination will be ranked higher. In the event that the results of the online test are also equal, the merit order will be determined based on the candidate’s date of birth, i.e. Candidates who are older will have a higher ranking. In order for a candidate to be selected, the Bank will need to determine that the candidate is medically fit
