Resident Evil is once again breaking out of the world of video games, this time, it's live-action Netflix series. It is produced in part by Constantin Film, the studio behind Milla Jovovich's six RE films and the Netflix series Resident Evil builds on the games of Capcom's franchise as well as focusing on the series' most popular character Albert Wesker. The end result, as per the review in our Resident Evil: Season 1 review will delight die-hard RE fans thanks to "superb acting combined with an intriguing plot that somehow fits into this ever-growing and wildly convoluted timeline."

Live-action Resident Evil series is set in two different timelines 2022 (the year of the T-virus global spread) as well as 2036 (14 years after the outbreak). The official description of the series is available of the series from Netflix:
