Photos and videos of a 19-year-old girl traveling in the Delhi Metro wearing just a bra and a miniskirt went viral.

No inspiration from Uorfi Javed

Rhythm said she was not inspired by Uorfi Javed. Moreover, Uorfi Javed was introduced to her by a close friend. Chanana also said this isn't the first time she has been spotted wearing a bra and mini skirt.

It's not a publicity stunt

Rhythm Chanana told a news channel she chose what she would wear. It wasn't about fame or publicity for Rhythm. "I don't care what people think." she said.

Commuting: Maintain social etiquette

During the week, the Delhi Metro issued a statement stating that it expects its commuters to maintain social etiquette and protocol. There should be no activities or attire that could offend other passengers.."

Indecency is a punishable offence under section 59 of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation's Operations and Maintenance Act, it said.

"All Metro passengers are requested to maintain decorum while traveling. Passengers are expected to self-regulate their conduct in a responsible manner, including the choice of clothing they wear while travelling,"
